PDF files are quickly becoming the standard file format for many companies. Convert your PDF and translate with just one click of a file.

PDF [Portable Document Format] is a standard for a file format that is viewable and printable on any platform — Macintosh, Microsoft® Windows®, UNIX®, and many mobile platforms. Many companies use this type of file format for sending documents. The software will convert your document and perform translation. European languages are supported in original document, Asian, Russian and Arabic fonts are normally only images in a PDF and may require additional conversion before translation.

Customer Specific Dictionary: Create additional dictionaries with your own phrases and terminology. Adding the words correctly to the dictionary is very important but in the past it could be difficult if you did not know the part of speech. For example, if you add a word you would need to tell the software if it was a noun or verb. With the New dictionary builder in the software will help you determine the part of speech the word is before you add it. This feature makes it simple enough for everyone to use - no linguistic experience needed!

Translation Memory (TM) - Translation memory gives you the ability to train the software for full sentences and even paragraphs. Professional translation database that lets you store previously translated sentences and phrases and reuse them.

Using Translation Memory speeds up editing time with suggestions for sentences that either exactly match or are slightly different to those in previous translations. The next time you translate a document with that phrase or sentence it will let you choose the stored version or you can edit a new one. Professional translators use translation memory tools to ensure consistent translations and speed up the translating process.

Translation memory is extremely useful for highly repetitious text, achieves terminology consistency, especially when several people work on the same project. Normalization Dictionary (ND)
Premium Translator now introduces a new type of build able dictionary, the Normalization Dictionary. This provides a way to normalize text in your original document before translation or set it to normalize the text after it has been translated.

Abbreviations or acronyms such as DOB can be normalized as "Date of Birth." You can also use the Normalization Dictionary to standardize spellings. If your company uses the term "online" instead of "on-line," the Normalization Dictionary can ensure the appropriate instance of "online" is used. (20,000 entries)

Powerful large dictionaries that contain additional terminology and phrases can improve the overall accuracy of translations. Many industries have specific terminology or they can use common terms that can mean something completely different. For example 'mouse', is a rodent, but when talking about computers, this common word should be translated as computer mouse.
